As you decide to have your wedding in Thailand, we would like to offer an authentic and unique form to seal your vows – in a traditional Thai Wedding.

Buddhism is as much as philosophy as it is a religion. The open minded and tolerant nature of the faith allows the clergy to perform wedding rituals for even those who have never practiced the religion, and know little about it.

The traditional ceremonies mark the couple’s sacred commitment to lifelong togetherness. This ceremony is called “Sai Moong Kon”, where the bride and groom are blessed by the monk’s prayers and where their engagement will be marked by draping a sacred flower chain around the heads of the couple, symbolizing their commitment to one another.

Gifts and small donations are presented by the couple to the monks to worship their blessings.
After the monks blessing ceremony, the bride and groom kneel side by side to give their guests the opportunity to bestow their individual blessings, which they do one by one, by gently pouring water over the hands of the couple. This ceremony is called “Rot Naam Sang”.

After the wedding ceremony you will be taken on an elephant ride on the beach where the photographer takes some unique pictures to make sure this wonderful day will last in your memories forever.

The traditional Thai wedding ceremony is an occasion as serene and evocative as one could wish for, and provides the feeling that one's union is welcomed and entirely in place in this exotic land.
